Castle Program Overview The CASTLE After-School program is gearing up for another year of student empowerment, and we are excited to get underway! After-School programming will begin the first Monday in October, this year Oct 4th. Again this year we will have programming Mon & Wed 3:30-6 pm, and Fridays 2:00-6 pm on school days (to accommodate the early out schedule). On non-school days we normally close the after-school program.

No School Dates for October There will be NO SCHOOL on the following dates in October. Friday, October 15th-Teacher in-service. Thursday, October 21st-Parent-Teacher Conferences. Friday, October 22nd-Fall Break. Friday, October 29th-No School
Hagan Scholarship Foundation If you have a 3.75 cumulative GPA, plan to enroll in a 4-year college, work 240 hours during the twelve months prior to fall semester college enrollment, and must file the FAFSA and be Pell Grant eligible, you are eligible to apply for the Hagan Scholarship. BVCA Partnership Scholarships Blue Valley Community Action has 3 scholarship opportunities: 1. BVCA Partnership-awarded to someone attending a 4-year college 2. BVCA Vocational Scholarship-Must be attending a 2 year or less program 3. BVCA SCC Scholarship-Must be attending SCC Criteria: 1. Must exhibit financial need according to BVCA 2. Must complete a biography 3. 3 Letters of Recommendation Get an application from Mrs. Biehl
Second Semester SENCAP Classes Registration for second semester SENCAP classes opens up on Monday. If you have not taken a SENCAP class and would like to, please come see Mrs. Biehl ASAP. For those of you that are planning to take one second semester, look for a spreadsheet that I will be sharing with you soon so that you can log in and register for those classes.
