STUDENT PARKING Students are now being asked to park in the student parking (Main school lot to the West of the school). The North side of the school will be parking reserved for staff. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

ENTERING & EXITING THE BUILDING We ask that all students and visitors enter and exit through the main entrance at the front of the school. During the school day please enter and exit through the office (far right door)for the continued safety of our students and staff.

Seniors Please give a least 3 childhood pictures to Destini Warnke for the senior slideshow. Group pictures will also be accepted. Pictures will not be accepted after April 30.

SUMMER SWIM TEAM Fairbury swim team registration forms are now available in the office. Registration and fees are due by April 30, 2018

STUDENT COUNCIL Student Council applications have been emailed to students in grades 8-11. If you are interested in being in StuCo during the 2018-2019 school year, you need to fill the application out, get a parent/guardian signature, and turn it in to Mrs. Beranek in the media center BEFORE 3:35 on Monday, April 23rd.

TEACHERS Support FCCLA! Get your Jeans On! Wear jeans a dollar a day for the rest of the school year. Starting on Monday, April 23rd-May 17th. All contributions are used to support Izze Schwab at National FCCLA in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be competing in the Chapter In Review Display, Sr Division. $1.00 a day - $20.00 for 20 days. Turn donations into Renae (Central), Andrea (Jefferson), and Tammi (Highschool.) Thank you for all your donations, they are very appreciated!

JH DANCE Junior High End of the Year Dance (6th-8th) The end of the year Junior High Dance date has been changed. The dance will take place THIS Friday, April 27 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Cost include: $5.00 for admission, $1.00 for drinks, and $1.00 for song requests. See you on Friday.

JOB FAIR Fairbury Job Fair! Lots of employers will be there hiring for summer jobs! Tuesday May 22nd at the Burkley Family Center (509 E Street)

PHYSICALS Jefferson Community Health & Life Fairbury CLinic will be offering sports physicals to students of any grade by appointment. Please call ahead to 402-729-3361 to get this scheduled, these need to be scheduled prior to August 1, 2018. Students must bring all forms with their name and date of birth on each as indicated. These also need to be signed by a parent or guardian. The forms are available online at www.fairburyjeffs.org.

Seniors Assisting with Bacca Seniors that met today with Pastor Law and who are responsible for certain parts of the service need to have their items ready to go on MONDAY, MAY 7TH at 2 PM.!!! We had to change the date and time due to spring concert rehearsals in the BFAC. The meeting will take place again in the BFAC at 2 pm 5/7.

GIRLS BASKETBALL Any high school girl going out for basketball next year should attend a meeting on Friday, April 27. The meeting will be at 1:40 in Mr. Showmans room. Coach Thompson requests you bring your calendar.

MEDIA CENTER CHECK IN Students & Staff- The final day for Checkout from the media Center will be Wednesday May 2nd, with all materials due back to the Media Center NO LATER than May 9th. Seniors, please make sure you take care of any fines and/or missing materials.‚Äč Please see Mrs. Winter or Mrs. Beranek if you have any questions!


Mandatory Meeting for all 7-11th Graders Planning to Play Any Sport Next Year If you are planning to play any sport next school year, there will be a meeting in the BFAC on Friday, May 11th at 1:35 p.m. We will be discussing weight room hours, test out dates, and the due date of physicals for next fall. If you are unable to attend, you can talk to any of these coaches: Ms. Rundle, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Biehl, Mr. Lenhart, Mr. Garfield, Mr. Edson or Mr. Thompson.
