FRIDAY SCHEDULE Due to the number of snow days we have had this year, additional time will have to be made up. This will be done by changing our dismissal time on Fridays from 2:00 to 3:35 beginning this Friday, March 15th continuing to the end of the year. Students last day will be Friday, May 17th with a noon dismissal.

SENIOR HOLDS Seniors~ If you owe money for class dues, books, computer repairs/replacement items, yearbook/copy fee or uniforms, get these taken care of ASAP. Check with the media center and office to find out what you owe! You will not be allowed to graduate until ALL items have been paid!! Don't wait until the last minute!! Thanks!
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS Looking for projects for community service projects? The Summer Food Program is looking for people interested in doing activities with children 30 minutes 11:00 am to 11:30 am) before lunch this summer. You can do one day or several days, dates are flexible to work into your schedule. Activities should be physical or nutrition based. Contact Jane Rhine in the cafeteria for more information. We would like to have people commited to projects by April 26th.
QUIZ BOWL Fairbury's quiz bowl team placed first in the ESU 5 competition last Wednesday, qualifying for the state competition in Holdrege on April 24. Congratulations!
SWIM TEAM Summer is quickly approaching and practice for the Fairbury Wavebreakers swim team will be starting in May. Swim team registration forms will be available in the school office. If you are interested in signing up the form and fee are due by April 30, 2019. There will also be a parents meeting May 8, 2019 at 5:30 pm in the hospital conference room.
EASTER BREAK There will be NO SCHOOL Friday, April 19th and Monday April 22nd for Easter Break.

COLLEGE SHIRT DAY Friday, April 26th is designated as "Wear Your Favorite College" shirt day or military shirt day. All teachers are encouraged to wear a shirt representing their alma mater (if you still have one), seniors-the shirt representing where you are going after high school (college, military or workforce) and the rest 7-11th graders represent their favorite college.
Final Senior Meeting There will be a final senior meeting on Wednesday, April 24th after first period in the BFAC. We will discuss graduation practice, graduation, honors night, transcripts, etc.
